Email Problem.

We are aware that some emails that are forwarded to AOL accounts have not been getting through. This is not specific to this website but a problem many are having.

If you have emailed us and not had a reply after a few days please send your email again directly to videoarchitect @ aol.com and we will make sure it gets to the right person. (Note no space before and after the @ in email addresses )

Area studies

Not everywhere within a country produces the same effects, some areas property is cheaper but produces a greater return, other areas land and property is in short supply forcing up prices, and rents in proportion to prices may produce a lower return. This is in addition to the differences between countries and continents.

In this new section of the web site we are going to produce a whole series of studies looking at individual places, areas or districts within them, and identifying useful contacts within each. We want to look at prices, rental incomes, demand and how it is being met, likely growth in employment, population, type of houses that are likely to be required and what developments are taking place. Having created a study the idea is to expand upon it and update it from time to time.

In this section we will run a summary of the area study report, with enough detail for you to know if it is likely to be an area of interest to you, and to allow you to get a better understanding of areas. The full report will be available either as a downloadable file or in printed form, but will have a small cost designed over a number of copies ordered to cover the costs of sending a person to carry out the study and then to create them. The American studies are being done as a part of the H3  service and as such some areas we can do economically alongside finding expeditions, and others will be done so as to gain sufficient additional background to spot new opportunities, and other areas that can be developed.

You may wonder why we do not produce these reports from the vast amount of information we already have from finding trips. The reason is that individual searches have been carried out with a known specification, so only certain types of property or needs have been looked at, while with a full area study the objective is to look at all property and opportunities in the area as well as looking at many other factors. Not all of the information discovered can be included within the reports, but this will also strengthen and monitor our property finding and other support services to members.

If you would like to help in this process, perhaps working on helping us define your own home area, then please let us know.

Current position

A number of studies are already in hand for places within the UK and a number of areas within the USA. So come back here from time to time to see what is available.

Our crystal balls are well polished, but the future even for us can be less than accurately viewed, and therefore you should consider any projection or view that we may present in relation to the future as a mixture of foresight based on information and probability, personal views with a bit of guesswork thrown in, in exactly the same way as any other person or organizations forecasts are. We will of course try to update our information and views as developments occur, or governments or others change the rules of the game. We can make mistakes, or have written something that makes perfect sense to us, but may be unclear for others, if you feel we have then you should let us know, we also like to be told what a good job we are doing.
